I wasn’t being petty. I was teaching my son manners about waiting in line. It happened at the expense of Ray Watts. He was trying to cut in line because, by the look on his face, he didn’t want to be surrounded by UAB fans. I would have made an example out of any adult trying to break in line. The elevator comment was for all the other fans around me and most started talking about the need for one.

Ray Watts makes $575,000 as President of UAB ($890,000 if you count his neurology salary, but in theory he supposedly still sees patients and the extra $$ comes from the health sciences foundation practice so I won't hold it against the University). For that kind of money he deal with a few grumbling fans and get over it all the way back to his house in Mountain Brook

I suspect Watts deals with it just fine for that kind of money. He doesn't care about us - he has already proven that fact.

There's no way he sees enough patients to account for an addition $300k+ strictly from HSF billing. Not even close.
