After the game, my son and I were waiting for the elevator with a few other fans. Ray Watts ends up behind us. He then tries to use his “badge” to try and get in front of the line. He had to wait in line like the rest of us. Lol. No special privileges for him. I told my son rather loudly that it’s rude to try and push to front and he has to wait like everyone else.

The elevator also was taking a bit longer than normal so I made the comment “The elevator at the new on campus stadium wouldn’t take this long.”

University VIPs would likely have their own elevator at an OCS.

I got a story like that ,,,i was waiting for my car after the bb game ,, watts and myself were there and he start talking to me...... i never answer , turn me head away ,,,
the parking guys know me and i got my car before him ,,,,i told fat watts with a big smile that is what tipping do ,,,he was not smiling ..maybe he was looking for his blue bottle of water

He said yes because some of our biggest donors literally backed him into a corner of his office and told him he'd never see another dime. And by literally, I don't mean that they told him that, but that they physically stood with him backed into a corner, nose to nose, and told him that.

His beloved billion dollar fundraiser was dead in the water once he killed football.

The sort of arm twisting that university presidents understand best was used to focus his thinking on the subject, and that's reality too.

I can’t believe he is happy.
He looks so uncomfortable.

In a stadium full of people that hate him, I can't imagine he would be happy. I am not comfortable knowing that he is anywhere near our football team.

A tearful apology, coupled with an outing of the BOT members at the time that were coercing him to keep football shackled. Followed by a sizable check, equaling several years pay, to the football foundation , to kickoff the new stadium groundbreaking.

It's going to require a "Grinch - Whoville moment"
