The coaches respect USF more than the AP voters. USF has a huge lead over SDSU in the coaches (106 points). The AP lead is pretty narrow.

This next weekend against Boise St. is SDSU's last chance for a semi impressive win all year by beating a 2 loss Broncos team at home.

If usf and ucf keep winning there's no way sdsu gets the bid over the winner of that game (assuming no ccg slip up)

RE: AP poll, 3 ranked
I just lurked the SDSU forums...... talk about a butt hurt group. They are so pissed about these rankings. They just can't grasp the reality that the press as well as the coaches deem our conference P6. Which means we get the benefit of the doubt and more bias in rankings due to our stronger conference.
The P6 was always about perception. Working perfectly.

Their fans came here weeks ago predicting they would jump USF. Still hasn’t happened and what they forget is that USF or UCF would both have better opportunities to jump ahead of them in the future even if they did fall behind. Their last big game is next week vs Boise

If stanford doesnt lose, every week SDSU looks more impressive.

This is huge...UCF/Navy could be primetime, and has an outside shot of gameday (USC/ND play that same weekend).

All three could very realistically end up with only one loss, which would put them all conceivably in the Top 20. I may actually start believing the P6 if we can pull that off AND put at least 4 teams in the NCAAT this winter.

So let me get this straight, their only hope is to pray a team they played in the beginning of the season wins out the rest of the season. So the voters should only pay attention to this other team and ignore the rest of their schedule and slate of piss poor conference games?..........riiiighhhhhhtttt lol.

It's too bad the UCF/Navy game is on CBSSN. An all-top-25 conference game on ESPN would be sweet.

This is why the next TV deal will see a marked increase. ESPN/CBSSN are getting a conference with multiple Top 25 teams at a bargain price right now.
