...and it almost happened as predicted here yesterday, as FSU finished only 6 votes shy of keeping us out of the poll...due to their utterly convincing blowout of Wake Forest.

I think we are a tad overrated

SDSU should be ahead of USF. Let's be real. They've played and beaten both Stanford and Arizona State.

I'd be pissed if I were their fans.

Florida will be out soon. They have narrowly escaped the softest part of their schedule.

True they probably should be. But they have looked less than impressive the last 2 weeks, squeaking out close wins, meanwhile USF has won both of their games in blowouts. Unfortunately, all they look at is scores and USF put up 61 points on an inept ECU defense.

I'd love to agree with you since it would mark the first time I've ever found myself agreeing with a USF fan...but I can't. This year, the game is definitely going to live up to the "War on I-4" moniker.

The USF/UCF war on I4 will be an absolute barn burner between 2 possible top 10 teams. I really think both could get that high by then.
