You have to figure that Pearl's ass is on the line too. If AU was smart, given that he was hired while still under a show cause, there is language in Pearl's contract that makes him easy to roll under a bus if he's caught cheating.

Louisville news conference at 1PM... supposedly without Jurich or Pitino present. Pitino apparently told staff he expects to be fired.

I don't want anything to happen to Pearl until Dec. 10. I want to beat him once on the court before they run him off.
