You've probably got some here and there still dealing with hurricane damage. But still, surprised how empty the place is.
Makes me wonder how many people will be at the Toledo/ Miami game.
Around 40,000-50,000. The fact that the Dolphins are out of town again, this time to play the Jets. combined with the Canes not playing for a couple of weeks makes this game kind of special down here. Tickets are reasonable. The few Toledo fans I've talked to are bringing a lot of people with them.
Attendance was 49,367. Good guess by me. There were a bunch of tailgaters that paid for parking and didn't go to the game.
It didn’t look like there were that many people there, let alone 49,000+

Actually half the stadium is about 33,000. Most of the camera shots were just below me in section 346(right on 50 yard line though). They looked to the visitor side, similar to how ESPN shoots to the east side of the Glass Bowl. Anyways, the upper deck of the Canes' side was pretty full and most people weren't in their seats until a few minutes into the first quarter. You've got numerous private clubs, boxes, suites, concession areas, etc. that hold a lot people.

RE: Access Bowl
This past week wasn't good for the MAC, unlike the week prior.
But, there was only 1 big win for the AAC or MW (UCF stomps Maryland).
If Miami-FL wins the ACC, Toledo could have a chance, if the AAC beats each other up + NIU beats San Diego State. Boston College holding their own in the ACC and going to a bowl I think would be helpful (for the MAC in general, thus Toledo too). NIU could be in the discussion if Boston College gets on track here mid-season, and Miami-FL wins the ACC, and they give Toledo their only other loss.
In a nutshell, it's not worth it having any ideal hope on the concept. It'd need all that + the AAC beating up on each other like last year, where the conference winner has 3L.

RE: Access Bowl
Any chance a MAC team gets ranked this year? If Toledo wins out, probably. If anyone else wins out, would they have a chance or no?

1 loss Ohio gets ranked.
1 loss Toledo gets ranked. 2 loss Toledo gets ranked if they are 12-2 after a bowl game.
1 loss NIU gets ranked. 2 loss NIU gets ranked after the MACC if they beat SDSU this week.
1 loss EMU gets ranked. 2 loss EMU could get ranked after a bowl.
2 loss WMU could get ranked after a bowl pending MSU and USC's seasons.
2 loss UB could get ranked post bowl with WMU and NIU as crossovers with Toledo in the MACC.
