presale tickets go on sale THIS THURSDAY 8/24 at 11:00 AM. BUT what i just noticed is that you have to sign up for the newsletter by 8/22..... TOMORROW. i don't know if that means by 11:59 tonight (about 3 hours from now) or anytime tomorrow.

it reads:

PLEASE BUMP THIS THREAD as many times as possible. we HAVE to be able to get presale tickets, guys. this is an arms race, and we're fighting against a team (NDSU) that has done this many, many, many times before. WE DON'T LOSE ONLINE "COMPETITIONS", EVER.

Yep, I think the odds are higher than most believe that the Bison and JMU will be the top two seeds on opposite sides of the bracket and end up in Frisco. At least last year, if we had not beat the Bison in a close game, I have no doubt they would have repeated for the 6th time.

Except for the small blocks reserved for the schools, this is how the tickets are sold, and you can guarantee no Bison will sell to a JMU fan if they are in the game.

While it's not clear if the deadline was last night or today, everyone that can should register and buy whatever they can. Even if we don't make it for some reason, the odds are high NDSU or Jax State will and tickets will be scarce. It is fairly easy to sell these on the NCAA market. We were extremely lucky last year to get YSU's seats.

This is why I have my eye on this upcoming Sunday night's game between Richmond traveling to Soft Houston. NDSU plays some lose"able" road games against good D1AA competition and the Dukes have to travel to ECU. If both go undefeated, I agree with your assessment above. If either loses a game and Soft Houston goes undefeated - dare I say it? - I think the Softies will once again be given more respect than they deserve. Again dare I say it this Sunday night...but...go Spatters? (ducking from tomatoes being thrown at me :>)
