Is it just me, or do we always go "somewhere" before "somewhere" comes to Hattiesburg? Seemingly multiple years later, if at all. South Alabama is the only one that comes to Hattiesburg first.

UAB just announced their home and home with Liberty as well. 10/2/21 in Birmingham, 9/10/22 in Lynchburg

Just off the top of my head - Virginia, Boise State (2nd H/H, not 1st), Texas State, Arkansas State.

Our home games OOC from 2018-2022: Jackson State, ULM, Alcorn, South Alabama, Liberty, 3 unknown FCS teams (2020, 2021, 2022), and probably 1 G5er in 2021.

Enjoy the Kentucky game. Because it's the best we'll get until 2024.

Liberty is a full FBS member in 2019. Those games will become conference games before we play them. USA also has home and home games scheduled with La Tech, USM, UNT and UAB. Our USA games could convert to conference games as well, opening up 4 non conference slots on our future schedules.

If/when they join CUSA, they will have the largest athletic budget in the conference.

"The Lynchburg school spent a little more than $45 million on athletics in 2015-2016, the last year for which the Department of Education has numbers. To put this in perspective, that’s more than Boise State, New Mexico and every school in Conference USA, including Old Dominion, spent."

I hate it for your generation and those that will follow.....you guys deserved better....some of us 'tried'....

I complain, but honestly this is probably the best we can do, especially if Liberty is giving us some Jesus money to play this game. Memphis, ECU, and Houston will schedule 1-1s with Sun Belt teams but avoid us like the plague. Arkansas State and ULL are probably the same way. Literally no one will play us.

Oh boy! That should get our share of the CUSA tv monies to about $6.20. Of course CUSA will allow Liberty to have their own network as the mormons do so they will get about $50bazzilian from 700 network.

Don't worry, they(and ODU) will only be in CUSA for a short window. They are already leaps and bounds ahead of USM in facilities. Indoor football facility was just completed....and a legit baseball stadium.
