They're both equally evil. The only true policy ever worth a damn is a centrist, intelligent, data driven policy.

Not all Republicans campaigned on repealing the ACA. Trying to force Republicans to vote for a bill they did not campaigned on is just wrong.

Are you a troll or a clown?

It's one or the other, and I used to think clown. My instinct tells me that nobody is this stupid, but, hell, I've been wrong before.

Democrats can get Obamacare passed but Republicans can't repeal it.

All republicans are against Obamacare. This is common knowledge.

It's numbers. Democrats had 60 in the senate when they passed Obamacare. When that fell to 59, they had to play parliamentary games to finish getting it through.

Republicans have 52. That's not enough to get it done. 52 < 60. In terms of US politics, 52 <<< 60.

The only ways to repeal it are to 1) get 60+ republican senators, 2) repeal the filibuster, or 3) get some democrats to go along. Republicans aren't getting 60 any time soon. I think we need to keep the filibuster as a buffer against really bad legislation (although in the case of Obamacare, it obviously failed to do so). Right now democrats would rather crater the country than give in on a partisan issue. That probably holds for republicans as well.

Democrats once had the numbers to push through things that could crater the country. Thank goodness neither side does now.

You chose the wrong country, then. Get out of our society! Otherwise, we will be collecting taxes from you, and you will be paying them ... or you'll be in jail.

52-48 vote yesterday proves that GOP would rather crater the country than giv in on a partisan issue.

I do support such policies. If I was able to vote directly on policies, rather than representatives, I would only vote for such policies.

Is it comedy improv day today? Cause for Bison to claim to be a 'centrist' is totally laughable.
