Am I the only one who thinks King Karl needs to work on his public speaking skills?

He's always been like that, might have even improved, not sure I can even say that with a straight face.

Coach Neal Brown is the only one to bring two Offensive Players to Media Day. Neal did you short change your defense when it comes to leadership!

RE: Media Days 2017 Thread
My two biggest takeaways....

-Stated that despite being in separate divisions, both Troy and South Al will play one another every year as "cross rivals." This definitely makes me think we will see everybody get a permanent cross divisional rival

-The conference is happy being a future 10 member leagues and isn't looking to add anyone at this time; HOWEVER, he did confirm there is a member school "looking to add CFB" and if they do, they will be grandfathered into the conference (I didn't realize there was a grandfather clause).

Basically Sun Belt Bylaws---er Guidelines state that UALR and UTA are automatically granted entry to the conference should they start an FBS Football program.

Now, admittedly, Benson could password protect these things and pretend they never existed. But we let South Alabama in, so I guess if UALR really wanted to, they could get in.

Somehow I'm thinking this is really not going to be an issue.

So apparently King Karl called out certain teams during his state of the conference address? Did anyone catch this?

I didn't hear him call out any schools but he did answer a question about Little Rock's football study in which he basically made it sound like the SBC is happy without Trojan football.

I guess he did call out some big money donors from Georgia State and ULL who he asked if they had any questions for him because he knew he was getting emails and middle of the night phone calls from them all the time.

I don't recall him calling any teams out. he did mention the boosters of 3 schools that were allowed to take part of the media events as a test program.

I only listened to his state of the conference speech and not his predictions or Q&A but the only schools I heard him specifically "call out" were schools who've beaten P5 teams.

That's really, really bold. We're 0 for 3 and he's predicting 2 for the next 5?
