Here hope Houston represents the league well this season... I'm confident our defense will man up but not quite sure on our offense yet.

We are all in on the p6 talk from the conference office to the individual teams. Strategic move into the tv negotiations.

He really is good at this -- the media chit-chat, the hype. That's not everything, but it is important. Some other leagues have a Commish who is virtually invisible. Be thankful ours isn't.

Now the next step is getting a better media-deal. Time will tell, but for now I'm cautiously optimistic it will happen.

Mike Aresco reminds me that of an attorney you dont want to provoke.

Considering separation already exists, any bump in pay will still be separation.

I think the target is to maintain the revenue stream for USF, Cinci, and UConn, only now every member will see the same. That is a good, visible goal to reach and the numbers prove we've earned to make that much.

Espn just paid the big 12 in a shakedown to not expand. Everyone is staying for a while. They are not expanding.

This. As long as there is more money elsewhere, no GOR for Big12 possible teams like Houston, Cincy, Memphis, the Florida twins, Tulane.....hell everyone but ECU.

Now with the growth of Conference networks squeezing inventory, maybe that will get us a few more million apiece...

This. As long as there is more money elsewhere, no GOR for Big12 possible teams like Houston, Cincy, Memphis, the Florida twins, Tulane.....hell everyone but ECU.

They don't need a GOR. The big 12 is locked in until 2025.
