ESPN was good when it was about sports with a good dose of guy humor. I went years of never missing Sportscenter, now I've gone years without watching it.

I actually enjoyed Mike and Mike. They covered the major sport stories. Talked a bit about them and other sports related issues. Occasionally they go off field, but for the most part I listen to their show and was able to catch up on what I missed in the sports world the day before.

I also like Lebetard, but hes on the wrong network. Thats not a sportshow.

It's a sports show it's just not a fat guy and a has been player sitting around giving hot takes and pretending to know more then the avg sports fan. They look at the fun side of sports and just don't take it very seriously because in the end it's just sports.

30 for 30's are good. Best one is Duke Lacrosse

Calling it a "Sports show" is a stretch IMHO. Course I think a lot of ESPN shows these days fit in that category.

One of several reasons it is going down. Can't polarize your viewing audience when sports is your main subject.

It is unfortunate because sports is the great equalizer in bringing people from different backgrounds together, however, ESPN is just another network turning to left bias grandstanding. Whether you agree with what they say or not, that is going to turn away a significant amount of people.

MSESPN is all for opinion-based personalities unless they disagree with left wing politics. If they want opinions, why can't there be diversity of opinions? They are losing their core audience that just want sports, by trying to politicize everything to get ratings.

I don't know where giving a voice to minorities come into play here. My perspective is that, overall, they lean left regardless of who is is talking.

Fox Sports never built an empire as large as ESPN. That is why they were always referred to as "the mothership".
