Their shtick got old after the first show. Not sure how anyone could stomach them for very long.
Used to listen to them on the way to work. Enjoyed them then, and I guess a little surprised to hear they have been axed, though I seldom watch or hear them now.
That's actually one of the few ESPN shows I enjoy (although I mostly listen on radio). The article says both are staying at ESPN with Mike Greenberg going to TV and Mike Golic sticking with the radio show (with a new co-host in Trey Wingo). So I'm not sure if cancelled is necessarily the correct word, although that's the title in the headline of the linked article).
Glad they get a chance to regroup before ESPN goes under.
I don't think Golic is too happy about it
I always thought they should have called that show "Commercial and Commercial".
Mike and Mike is the only show worth listening to on ESPN. Whoever is running ESPN clearly doesn't know what they are doing. They failed to fire Stephen A. Smith and want to break up the only half decent show ESPN has.

Which half of the show is decent? Mike? Or Mike?
golic's kid will also be on the show
I lost all interest in ESPN Radio/TV after they axed Danny Kannell in their bloodbath. Mike and Mike was my second favorite show.
Mike and Mike was only good if you cared about the NFL. If you don't care about the NFL, then their show sucked because that is all they talk about....year round.

Yeah it sounds like they should have used the word or term "Rebranded". Its not exactly a cancellation. I can't remember the last time I actually watched or listened to Mike and Mike though, I stay away from ESPN as much as possible.

Mike...
Yeah, I think they announced months ago that Greenburg was leaving for TV.

Mike and Mike was awful it was nohting just gas bag sports talk.

Look at what's growing in the sports talk market show's like Lebatard and the Barstool sports show. People want to have fun with their sports talk and realize the gas bag giving you his opinion on "are the Raiders for for real!?'' Or MJ LeBron debate.
I miss Kornheiser and Wilbon
Greeny's show comes on a lot later so he's prob happy he gets to sleep in. He always talks about how early he has to be up and how early he goes to hed
I just wish they'd bring back Scott Van Pelt. His show was always a good listen except when Russillo would get off his leash and go rambling about working out, rappers, and NBA basketball.
Jalen and Jacoby is fun to listen to.
