Moss throwing batting practice now-- even the two outs were hit hard. Tie game with go-ahead run at 2b....and the damage was done by he bottom of Lamar's order.

Charlie walked, sac bunt moves him to 2nd.

And Ryan gets the walk off RBI single. 9-8 Owls final.

4-pitch walk to Warren. Yay!!

Sarchet and Warren huddle with WG.

Sarchet bunts ... not very far away from the plate ... catcher pounces ... looks to 2nd, but throws to first ... a little wide right ... to get Sarchet. Whew.

Wow. Can I believe my eyes-- a perfectly executed 9th inning, game-winning run? Leadoff walk, sac bunt, single? Ryan has been hot and cold this year, but I believe that's his 5th game-winning hit this season.

Feel good win, especially with a make-shift lineup. Now, safe travels tomorrow to Charlotte, and lets win our third weekend series and third week of action in a row. Go Owls!

Yay Owls!
Potentially meaningful win, too.... RPI could still make a difference in conference tiebreakers... or one other scenario.
Besides, winning is more fun!!

College baseball almost always fly out on Thursdays, and practice at the opponents field before a late dinner (usually sponsored by the RBI Club and the major baseball donors).

I'm not sure there is any college team in any sport that would fly to a match on the same day as the match. That is just too risky.
