Penn State is 1 for 1 in NCAA games now in what, 5 years? Goddammit.

Wanted the Broncos to represent the NCHC after UND lost to BU, but alas, Duluth wins the right. Can't win. But at least Minnesota lost and the Michigan's didn't get a whiff.

College hockey is far less predictable than the other sports. There is far less gap between the good teams and the not so good teams. Obviously the better teams have a better chance of winning, and the better conferences have a better chance of having teams around at the end, but it is always wide open. Certain programs tend to find their way into the tournament even when they haven't necessarily had their best years, but will do just as well in the tournament during those years as the years when they have fantastic teams. They know the key is just getting in. From there you just need to have the breaks and get hot at the right time. Similar to the NHL.

Air Force is a good team. Folks make fun of Atlantic hockey, but they had a few very decent teams.

it,s not the same as NHL it,s one and done which causes way more upsets if you have to win four games usually the better team prevails , one and done is a crap shoot, you have a bad game like we did you have no chance at redemption just look at our Omaha series. if it was one and done we don't even get to go the frozen faceoff

Anything can happen in ice hockey on any given night. Look at the Blackhawks against Florida Panthers last night, losing 7-0. If those teams play 10 game the Hawks win 9 of them.

The team looked unprepared and lost through two periods. AF pressed WMU and we couldn't figure it out for far too long and simply ran out of time. Just like the NHL there are two seasons, the regular and the playoffs. You need to learn to win and compete for championships, it's a culture that we just don't have yet. Hopefully, they learn and carry it into next season!

Tough way for the Bronco season to end....losing five out of the last seven. Still, a pretty good season being ranked in the top ten nationally.
The Air Force game showed you can't take a period off against any team in the NCAA's.
Wonder if Wade Allison will leave early for the Flyers? I don't think he's quite ready yet for the NHL but maybe after next year.

Great to see two NCHC teams in the Frozen Four. I still think Denver is the team to beat. Anyone but Notre Dame.

Nobody here makes fun of Atlantic Hockey. The same Atlantic Hockey that ranked above the new WCHA...the same league you advocated us joining.

It would be great for us for him to come back, but I don't see it happening. Guys who take super selfish penalties like his at the end of the AFA game usually do it because they know they aren't returning.

Or they're young and frustrated because they are losing a super important game that they were favored in. Let's not read too much into things like that and see how it goes.
