Based on last years totals in several factors, others were better. Instead of making this an 11 team poll, I opted for fewer teams as #8 for instance probably isn't really better than what that stats would say are the top 3 or 4.
I will add in the others per request.
Other backs actually had 5 guys blocking up front. I think GS backs need credit for yards gained running into 5 defenders every play.

At or behind the line of scrimmage.

Larry Rose III is the clear winner of the poll if we're only counting votes from other schools. I'd say he's the winner here, and well deserved.

Was he playing injured last year? I know he missed the three games but his numbers were pretty pedestrian in comparison to an incredible sophomore year and a very good freshman year.

He did have an injury last year. However, he is very fast, an extremely tough runner, a great receiver, and a pretty good blocker as well. He is both faster and tougher than you'd think from looking at him. The most impressive all round RB in person that I've seen in the Sunbelt in a while.
I'm pretty much a homer too. But with Michael Gordon gone, Wand won't be an every down back. White, who was under-rated is gone now as well. Weh-Weh, had he not been injured, would have been a game changer this year. I hope he can come back and StAte can have a couple on that list to vote on next year.

White is, I believe, a Senior. The NCAA frowns on someone actually playing more than 4 complete seasons. White got over 100 yds against Miami as a freshman walk-on. We will miss him.
