GO TIGERS GO
Anyone who is a Tiger fan and anyone who follows college BB knows the Laurinburg era started with the Laurinburg 4. Without that incoming group, the run would have never started. That run started with their freshmen years in '05-'06 season and ended in '08-'09 season. Kareem was the only one of that quartet that didn't contribute significantly to any of the runs.

LOL fact free
Jermey was on that TEAM so that is out of nowhere...He never played with the guys before but you refer to a strength of the guys playing together.
Second fact AA was on the Larenburg team...Dummy
FYI...https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/laurinburg-wins-u-s-prep-national-championship ...Dummy...So Taggart playing on the 09 team is during the era. Heck there were 2 Laurneburg guys on the 09 team
Third fact you know nothing
So by your logic, if I mention this year's team Im automatically posting about Chad or KJ? BS
Most KNOWLEDGEABLE CBB people-that would exclude you-consider Dorsey the beginning and end of Lauinburg Era-0nly 2 still remained at Memphis in 2009. You haven't even mentioned the one who was drafted highest and probably the best-probably didn't know he was on the team.
Last fact -you are a dumb azz wanna be CBB guru and you know very little and on my ignore list. You contribute no knowledgeable posts. You attempt to pick holes in others. That's all you do.
Mods I hope this political crap creeping on the the forum is ended emphatically.
Lol...Ok
You are so ignorant. There were the same number of Laurenburg kids on the roster in 2008 as 2009...And Joey was the only Laurenburg kdid on the Roster his first year.
And when you say a teams strength is they have played together and no other players would be able to crack the starting lineup it would make sense for someone else to point out that one of the starters had never played with the others.
But hey Fact Free Penny Lane lives up to his name. Ignorance at its finest.
Your dumb azz statement: "And when you say a teams strength is they have played together and no other players would be able to crack the starting lineup it would make sense for someone else to point out that one of the starters had never played with the others."
You think the best player in college basketball-he was the number one NBA draft pick pick-couldn't break into Tiger lineup is asinine. Where in my post that I say that? The rest of the team was experienced as in playing together. You said it in your quoted post above. So quit twisting crap around and drop it.
Dorsey was the first recruit from LP; without him you don't know with 100% certainty the others would have come. He was the ringleader of that group and they followed him; to the Plush Club, on the court; you didn't want to get on his bad side.
That is settled.

Bolded the important part because you are not very bright and ignorant, so you may have trouble following your OWN words.
Big Dummy like your posts weren't still in this thread...And your Dorsey Rambling proves your ignorance further.

Anyone who follows the Tigers knows about the Laurinburg 4 coming in...that's when the Tigers' fortunes changed. Dorsey was a big help but without the quartet of freshmen coming in, the run would have never happened. That run ended in 08-09 with 2 of the remaining quartet members. Anyways this is a pointless debate. Most of us have lived through it and know when the Tigers' fortunes changed.

It has been answered but it's being ignored to suite one's argument.

I haven't seen my question answered in it's entirety which has only 2 variables for the answer.
Best team of Laurinburg Era coupled with:
Most players on team from Laurinburg in which season

No, when a poster constantly:
Paraphrases rather than direct quotes another poster in his reply and
Never contributes an informative post or a direct reply to a poster but most of his posts are geared towards nitpicking portions of posts
You are the agitator. I've asked a direct, simple question 3 times to put this issue behind us and you won't answer. BECAUSE YOU ARE WRONG AND WONT ADMIT IT.
DONE WITH YOUR BS. I proved my point.
