Interesting info: Remittances, the earnings that Mexican workers in the US send back to Mexico, is the number one source of Mexico's foreign income. Remittances replaced oil revenue a year or two ago. THAT's why the Mexican govt is so against making folks go back to Mexico. It isn't a humanitarian thing, it's all about the money. As usual, follow the money.
