Doubt it will happen, not sure I like it at all, prefer a 16 team playoff with a few "G5's" included. On the other hand, of CBS Sports or the like put up some taller cash....

Kittonhead its never a good idea to accelerate the FCS status of MAC schools. That is 110% what this idea does.

I see your perspective.

I'm thinking more of an NFL/AFL or NBA/ABA thing where you've got a parallel playoff structure.

Give all the games OTA broadcast and pick up a few P5 bowls while at it like the Liberty and Sun with their traditions hosting some of the G5 teams.

Totally subjective playoff that would call out the hypocrites of the P5.
