I like that HaHa is being aggressive. I've pretty much accepted that all he is on offense, for the most part, is a jump shooter. I just want him to be aggressive. Quit disappearing.

UAB's record is 43 games, held by Elbert Rogers.

Under 4 timeout. UAB up by 13. We only scored 4 points in the past 4 minutes. We need to get hot again.

They are getting sloppy because they have a huge lead. Just like Kansas did last night. Except GW can be more damage to us than we could to Kansas

we took a 22 point lead down to 5. GWU took a 16 pt lead down to 8. I'd say we did more damage

RE: GW game thread
Much crisper and better on offense especially than last night. Some things that stood out to me in the first half:

Very sloppy play for us again to continue the trend from last night.

Very poor box outs on the defensive glass. They've had multiple shot attempts several times

JD is too quick to pull the trigger and needs to pass more.

I'm talking about potential. Even with the game down to five, Kansas was still in control. If GW gets it to five, I won't feel we still have the game in control.

RE: GW game thread
1-3-1 is giving us trouble.

Ehsan may cut someone from the box to the top of the foul lane to open it up some.

Dirk needs to knock it down from the wing when passed from the foul lane.

RE: GW game thread
We can't keep passing to the corner if GW continues their half-court trap.

I'd also like to see Dirk and Deion attack the trap from the top of the key. Lots of space out there to operate, and Dirk can launch some deep threes.

RE: GW game thread
Before GW brought out the trap, I liked seeing Deion and Lee run a little pick and roll action. It's good way to get both guys playing more aggressively on the offensive side.

RE: GW game thread
2 first half 3 pointers...both by HaHa. Thats not gonna cut it. Given that, and giving up 11 offensive rebounds, im very happy to be up 10. i just hope we dont see the big shooting percentage drop in the 2nd half that weve seen this season
