You should be able to accept that some people believe team A is just a smidgen better than team B (not even taking into account the location of said game) without getting your panties in a wad.

Saying St Mary's might not be QUITE as good as Kansas is not an insult to St. Mary's. you're too sensitive

I'm not sensitive at all Dr. Phil. But I could probably go dig up a couple of your posts and show you some real sensitivity. The fact of the matter is in this case it doesn't matter if Kansas is a smidgen better than St. Mary's, it is still going to be just as tough for UAB to win regardless. And recent history with these players has shown this to be true. They struggle on the road and neutral court games against quality competition.

So I'm done being real. Maybe later today I will drink the green and gold Kool-aid and get in fantasy mode...lol.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

You fly off the handle if you perceive anyone to be disagreeing with you

Even if St. Mary's is actually better than Kansas, they don't have Kansas written across their jersey so right off the bat we aren't in a psychological hole like we were against the Jayhawks.

They shouldn't have been freaked out. It's not like this group haven't played against tradition rich basketball programs before. This tells me this group lacks the confidence to go up against perceived better programs.

If you think I am flying off the handle then you are truly the sensitive one. I don't care if we don't agree but I can tell you why I don't agree with you. You can do the same as well. It's all good.

That's exactly what people that you are arguing with are saying.

They are saying that they would be more mentally affected by playing a name like Kansas than they would be St. Mary's. Which, in turn, means they have a difference in confidence between the two programs....which is what you said above.

RE: GW game thread
Saw an article this morning where Joe Lunardi has St. Mary's as a 3 seed in his latest bracketology.

He has Kansas as a 2 seed.

UAB a 14, down from a 13 last week.
