The coolest moment of the game was in the 4th quarter knowing Marcus just had a few more yards to go, then broke on the TD run to complete seal the win. So proud of him! Too bad most fans had already left because of score or weather.
Future is set with Jalin Moore for the next two years as well.

I hope GS fans don't watch the highlights. they might have aneurysms when they see us running the two back set, triple option with great effectiveness...

I see what y'all are up to. It's not enough you fill your roster with GA kids. Now you are taking advantage of Southern fans when we are at our lowest. Trying to lure us into the back of your van with running backs and TO play calling. There better not be a puppy in that van and a picture of Erk.

Too late.
Got me when you went 4th and 5 and scored a TD on the option in Paulson.
Ready for 2017.

They're just jealous because there is a new sheriff in town. They're used to being the "big bad wolf" of the Sunbelt, not so much any more.
....sadly, they still are. With Troy and App both coming into their match-up with Arkansas State, each only had one loss to Clemson, all either had to do was win for a likely outright SBC title; both laid an egg.
Arkansas State is any other contenders kryptonite until they are unseated (unlike USA who wins OOC games )

Really love the new formations coming out this late in the season. It's really like a renaissance slightly of Armanti, Devon Moore and Kevin Richardson in 2007.

That clip will have Ga So fans going nuts. We had a lot of success in 2007 with the two back set with Moore & Richardson and many of us have wondered why Scott shelved it. Understandable this year with the loss of Upshaw and injuries to Cox & Boyd. I suspect with Marcus getting back in game shape and not needing as much rest we'll see it a lot at NMSU and in the bowl game. It is a lethal offense with the school's all time rusher and a guy who doesn't start, but leads the conference in rushing.

Must suck when you have to hope someone else does the job for you.
Nope your ooc Play has done that
Talking about conference here. Try to keep up...Lol. When UL was having their run we had some conversations with them. Well they have fell off and we are still here. I imagine it will happen with (second place) App. Lol...you guys should appreciate us since you have fallen in bed with GS so who else could you argue with. Anyway nice win...great running back getting the credit he deserves. Guess y'all are rooting for UL this weekend...love conference play.

Can't help but think stAte fans are SO HAPPY they don't have App on their schedule. App has yet to lose any back to back games to any conference opponents, so I'm waiting for the rematch, even if it is two years away.

Dude, we just routed a team that beat you.
Why would we have any emotion at all about playing a mid-level Sun Belt team?
You'd just be more Wolf food.

I take great comfort in knowing 14 of App's 22 starters and our KO/Punter were recruited while we were in FCS and we're 19-4 vs the Sunbelt and 23-5 vs G-5 in our three years playing FBS. Most of our FBS recruits are RS sophomores and freshmen. I look forward to watching my Mountaineers after several years of adding FBS quality players 2-3 deep on the depth chart.

I get that then I remember when we moved up coach said our new recruits wouldn't even talk to us when we were 1AA. With those new players we were lousy. I gotta feeling the guys carrying the load for you now are as good as your FBS recruits. BTW that is not a put down.

I think has always found quality players at the FCS level, as evidenced by the number of players placed in the NFL. But if we were able to recruit 7-9 FBS level players when only recruiting 15 players a year imagine what we can have with 23 recruits per year. We have red shirted a lot of players and have less FBS/juco transfers compared to the next lowest SBC program. Excited about the years ahead.

Didn't take it that way at all. App recruited at a pretty high level even in FCS and our coaches do a great job evaluating players and have been masterful at finding diamonds in the rough. CB Duck will push for Freshman of the year, Jaylin Moore leads the SB in rushing, LB Eric Boggs will push for DPOY and OLB Devan Stringer may be our best all around player on defense. None of those had a single FBS offer. While they may not have been highly regarded by the recruiting sites I'm told the last two classes have been outstanding on the scout team and especially in the weight room. They are bigger, stronger and faster versions of our FCS classes. Our staff routinely passes on higher rated prospects for those that are a better fit for what we do. Scott looks for a high football IQ and academic background. A good indicator is the high number of our signees with service academy offers and even some Ivy League offers. I am thrilled with the type of young men this staff is bringing to Boone.
