I tend to take results of games with Army, Navy, GT and GaSo with grains of salt, as they often about how well a given opponent can stop the TO.

It may indeed be close as we are on the road, far on the road, but I hope we score more than 27
We should score well, as this UTEP defense is on par with those of UNCC and Hampton.

UMass and WKU seemed to find and exploit running weaknesses against our DLine and LBs Ithat we hadn't seen before. if the UTEP running game gets going, it could be close, as their offense is better both on the ground and in the air, than that of UMass.

I'm thinking that turnovers and special teams will play a big part in today's game. I think we break a couple of big returns, and we may see a defensive score. DW will have a solid day passing for 225-250 yards, but the running game is going to carry the offense against a Miner defense that cannot stop the run.

I am seeing it as 2 teams that can't stop the run. Last person with the ball wins.

I hope not but fear you're correct. Hopefully, we play a little faster and get ahead of these guys like we were doing during the few weeks before last.

I'm watching WKU-FAU. FAU is losing 24-3 in the 3rd quarter. They are 0-3, 1-6 and I swear they look like they can kick our butts! How in the hell did we look so bad last week? Even FAU looks better than us.

I think this scenario would be huge as you describe it. And it should also open up some 757 recruiting if we can become bowl eligible against Marshall in Norfolk--forcing some of these HS coaches to stop regarding Bobby as selling a FCS product.

I hope our feed isn't as bad as that one was later. Not hopeful as it's on other side of the continent.
