If your life depended on the choice would you rather need to score 2 TD's in a minute, or force a fumble from your opponent in the victory formation (1 chance), recover, and then drive however many yards (midfield/ 3/4hts field?) in 30 seconds?

I'm fine with him scoring the TD in this situation because unless the coaches have told him to fall down after the first, I don't want my players making strategic decisions on their own like this. Because if WM has timeouts left, the math is different and scoring TD is the optimal choice. You are going to win 99.9% of the time either way on these 2 choices. But there is no chance in hell scoring the TD was a better probability choice than falling down somewhere in WM territory.
