This game has been one of the most ridiculous games I have ever seen in person on a infinite number of levels...

Props to the Cavs but I really have to question how Golden State came out... I have to question some of the heart and head scratching plays they made.

Stat of the game (3 Pointers):

GS 11/39 (28.2%) CLE 24/45 (53.3%)

Cavs turned the tables from trey land. GS should still win this series but you wonder if this win by the Cavs gets inside their heads from last year....

Definitely the consensus on sports talk radio in LA

Quote:And I'd be very surprised if Chris Paul is there next season. He can opt out of his contract and go chase a ring with a contender. Spurs are a likely option for that move.

I dunno - he'd be leaving a lot of money on the table. $50MM? It may not mean much but it was reported in February that he's agreed to stay with the Clippers.

Quote:Griffin might stay with the Clippers because other teams might not be willing to pay him as much as the Clippers, given his injury history.

After Durant and Curry, who I can't imagine would leave the Warriors, who is the most attractive UFA? Good argument it's Griffin.

Welp, the Clippers are back to being the Clippers. Or they wil be as soon as Griffin signs with his new team. I can't imagine him staying without Paul. I guess I'm impressed that Paul left a lot of money on the table to chase, what, a berth in the conference finals...?

CP3 only left money on the table for this year. Because his existing contract was traded to the Rockets, the Rockets can sign him to a five-year max contract after the 2017-18 season. (Got to figure he knew that in advance, given that he's the president of the players' association.)
