They showed a stat that we have 16 yards in offense with negative rushing.

In addition to the big play, WKU has effectively owned the 'field posession' game. We hold them inside the 15, instead of getting the ball near midfield, after a penalty, we're punting from inside our own 15. They get a 10 yard penalty on the KO, and they hold us to the 20.

I did not like his pregame comments (see page 1 of this thread) where he seemed to be continually referring to the lack of any "pre-season" games this year. WKU's 2nd-year Coach Brohm doesn't seem to agree.

agreed. wasn't Stewart a bit of a speedster back in the day?
when there was a close camera shot he looks more like a linebacker now... and it shows on speed

I'm just confused why any of us are surprised. Penalties, turnovers...these have become the hallmark of DB's teams through the years, with only one or two exceptions. Not ready to play.

Down by 16, we had 16 seconds to throw away at the end of the quarter?

Same here. I thought we should be able to at least grind out some TOP when needed.

FTR, I'm not giving up at all. I played on teams that had far more daunting prospects than this one and we came to play every game.

2 plays can turn this game around in a manner of moments.....

but I can still see where we are missing opportunities and they aren't.
