btw, the Owls were 2-1 this year against AP Top25 teams...that would be the Temple Owls, beating #16 Villanova 68-64 on Nov 11, beating #1 Houston 56-55 on Jan 22, and losing to #3 Houston 65-81 on Feb 5.
...and of course, the Owls finally made the NCAA Tourney, but again that would be the Kennesaw State Owls 26-8 (15-3 in A-Sun) who notched a
67-66 victory over Liberty on Sunday, March 5th, earning the Owls their first Atlantic Sun Conference championship and their first trip to the NCAA tournament.
Still awaiting the fate of the Owls, that's the top-seeded Florida Atlantic Owls 29-3 (18-2, CUSA), who creamed the Western Kentucky Marshmallows on Thursday
75-51.
Oh, and in case you were wondering...the Oregon Tech Hustlin' Owls finished the year 14-15 (11-11) with a
76-82 overtime loss thriller to Eastern Oregon in the quarterfinals of the Cascade Conference Championships (presented by USBank) in Quinn Coliseum. (Tech was leading 38-37 at the Half.)
That's your Owls wrappup for today, folks!
