RE: Republican Convention
Regulations in the energy sector and other places are easy to talk about going after but I don't believe he's going to be reversing the regulations that are going to keep his kids wealthy.

There's no such thing as a walk-off...anything. Try getting some ointment for that red-a$$ of yours, as well.

Nothing about the Cardinals winning is exciting.

Pfft, he's got a red-a$$ because his BFF dropped out of the race early.

I agree...but...Trump showed he can deliver a speech on a teleprompter as well as Obama. Americans love a good speech Mach. He did better than I could ever imagined tonight. Dems...look out. Hillary cant match what he did tonight.

Mach needs to take his meds because he's gone from Rick Astley to FoS in a desperate attempt to be.....witty(?). Epic failsuck from the anti-Isreal "expert".

Is Jake Tapper one of the ones who's "not getting it"? I always consider[ed] Tapper a straight shooter and one of the good guys.

I can't wait to comment on crooked Hillary's convention next week. Going to be so much fun. You Libs will go off the deep end I am sure. When a person that should be in jail is running for President, how easy can it get. Trump nailed it tonight on how the level of corruption had reached new levels in our government.

Sounds Nationalistic doesnt it?

Is that a bad thing? If so, why?

Liberals prefer Globalism...nuff said.07-coffee3
Large, multi-National corporations, crony capitalism, and ruling to the will of the global banking elite instead of the people. The left votes for exactly what they rail against.

Americanism, not Globalism - except when it comes to picking my future wives. And much of the music I'll play at my convention.

Republicans are desperate for a savior. Let's not forget the last time that they nominated an anti-intellectual, not ready for prime time nominee with a famous last name.

I liked the fact that Trump extended a hand to the LGBTQ community.

I went to bed (had to get up really early), so missed it. I'll catch it on replay.

But don't most, if not all, presidential nominees hit a solid home run on the final night?

Experienced writers have had months to create that perfect, rousing speech, nearly eliminating any threat of an off-script gaffe. The convention itself is three buildup days of "rah-rah" foreplay before the guest of honor appears for the climax, with every network broadcasting it, sending the partisan audience into a frenzy.

In other words, you'd almost have to try harder to end a weeklong pep rally with a thud.

Not all. I like that Trump is addressing many of the issues that are on people's minds. I also like how he strayed from Republican orthodoxy .i.e. acceptance of LGBTQ community. The problem is that there is no meat on the bones. Like most sales pitches he never tells you how until after you buy the product.
