I like this one Dale and it got me thinking about this acoustic version...

I didn't cry but it was beautiful to behold. This is an emotional song with a female vocal from a country group that I liked in the past...

Great contributions. I caught Nickel Creek a handful of times out in Colorado, and saw Chris Thile's current band - The Punch Brothers - at The Masonic Center in Cincinnati when I was in town in March. I really dig those guys......

Alrighty now. Getting into another listening session at work. Thanks for all the reggae - that was sweet. One more round for me, with some more obscure bands I've caught out thisaway.
Lush's post about Slighty Stoopid had Karl Denson sitting in. Karl D's band (Tiny Universe) is ridiculous, but he also has another band - Greyboy Allstars - that tours infrequently, but just lays down the groove.
A few gems from our Pickathon Festival out here in the Oregon woods. Here's a few:
Wolf People - throwback British rock outfit. Seriously, they rock.
Leon Bridges. Young dude, old soul - blowing up, and for good reason.
Wood Brothers. Seasoned musicians, but relatively new lineup. Fine Americana.
Brokedown in Bakersfield. They don't play often as an outfit, but kill it with that Merle Haggard Bakersfield sound. And, Nikki Bluhm is smokin'.

Great selections Geef! I really liked Greyboy Allstars and Wolf People.
