And now that Bernie has failed to do so, the Democrats are the ones with a convention fight on their hands, not the Republicans.

What's the fight? Hillary is 73 delegates away from clinching, and will have it clinched by the convention. If Bernie shows up to Philly for a fight, all he is doing is showing his true colors/hypocrisy.

He's Bernie Sanders. You honestly think he has a problem flagging his own hypocrisy?

She wont be able to clinch it until the superdelegates vote, which they cant do until the convention. Which is why I am enjoying this trainwreck. Especially if Sanders pulls off the upset in California.

Semantics. They have pledged their support, but are going to switch after she has "clinched", won more delegates, and won the popular vote? 03-lol

I read/heard it differently at the time and have now heard others (no, can't recall who) cast it in a similar light. It appeared to me he was more saying "I'm sick and damn tired of hearing about your e-mails, 'Just come clean about them', but that's not what came across or was heard at the time.

As soon as the cackling started and the "So am I" was tossed out there, the aged old socialist was knocked off his feet a bit. It was a "moment" and for whatever reason he went with it.

Seems to me, as it is with most envious, greedy, moochie socialists, he has now realized that he, and his failed agenda/as with his desired economic system, will lose this nomination to the most corrupt. least likeable, least transparent, most incompetent, career politician in the history of this once great Nation.

So he's got some buyers remorse (wait, not buyers, freeloaders?) on that statement and is predictably trying to walk it back.

Don't really see that happening, but the fact that he's still remotely in the hunt, and she can't dispense with a disheveled, old, 75 YO socialist should tell us everything we need to know about the Cank.

All the sleaze and corruption of Bubba. None of the charm. 07-coffee3

That cracked me up.

I still love listening to the guy, even though I don't think he stands a snowball's chance in hell of winning the nomination. As for Sander's abandoning principle, I'm not sure he's done that when it comes to issues that matter, but a long race and the Dems' continued efforts to make Hillary the crown princess and next President is likely taking its toll. If I were Sanders, I'd be frustrated and probably go negative at times, too.
