Look I tend to be on your side on this, actually, because I think business owners should have a right to refuse service, but there's a difficult potential problem when gay people in less populated areas could be refused service from the only baker/barber/restaurant/etc in town.

it's there, in academic circles, the ground work is being laid and I expect all you'll need is a few movies/shows which first make it uncomfortably funny, then mildly understandable.

I guess when all else fails imply I'll start fighting for the pedophiles.

I know this will sound a bit tinfoil hat-ish but as things got bad in Germany it was not because they made being Jewish illegal. They simply made it hard to be a practicing Jew and function in society.

This all day long. Now, do I think there are some cases where the genetics are scrambled - probably so. But for the vast majority of cases - just what Fo said - you've already failed for 5 years.

What bothers me even more though, is the parents insistence on teaching Transgender stuff to 5 year olds. If I had a kid in that school I would be livid over a decision to teach Transgender stuff to a child of that age. Hell, half of them still can't tie their shoes and we're going to teach them about transgenders???

I'd tell my kid -just leave Johnny dress wearer alone. Don't you dare tease him.........just leave him alone.

So does everybody get to request the school do this? I take it the school regularly makes option seminars as requested by any parent that walks through the door.

The point is that the request to 'educate' other kids was not reasonable in the first place, optional or not. Besides, when it comes to schools there is nothing truly optional.

You address the bullies and punish their actions. You don't indoctrinate the whole school in gender theory.

Everyone isn't going to like everyone no matter what you do and a boy that dresses as a girl in elementary school is never going to be popular, but everyone doesn't have to like everyone for there to be peace and the young cross-dresser should be able to go through the day without being threatened. The general message should be that if you don't like someone, fine, you don't have to be friends with them, but you have to be generally pleasant toward them. It doesn't matter if they are crossdressers, short, fat, ugly, schits their pants, has alcoholic parents, has two dads, thinks they're Spiderman, can't catch a ball, or whatever. That is how it works in the real world. I don't like everyone I work with, but I still work with them.

Oh I get it so even thought it is a scientific fact that people can be born with both male and female genitals, you still want to believe that no one can be born with male genitals and still want to be a woman?

Those born with both sets of genitalia and those with a mental disorder are not the same and people should stop the stupidity of comparing the two.

Nearly every kid at some point in their first three years decides to role play the opposite gender. It's normal for kids to do so and its *then* that parents should be swooping in to teach them the differences, and the equality of the genders.
