Texas has the Dallas Stars brah....

Dallas is not Houston any more than Memphis is Nashville. I need a team I can drive to watch and hear about in the local media.

Well, if that is your play I doubt Texas gets a 2nd or a 3rd NHL team.

And you saying in Houston, no one covers the Stars, the state lone NHL team? I could buy the Rockets, Texans, and Astros getting more love than the Mavericks, Cowboys, and Rangers because.... but there is no equivalent for the Stars.

How about nothing, a big void? Because that's what it is. Dallas doesn't exist around here unless it's something football related. It's like a different state. Add in that Houston isn't a hockey hotbed at all and there ya go.
