RE: Social Media Question
I have an account on Facebook but I'm rarely on there. Not much of interest there.

She was instructed to have a generic page that shows nothing that could be seen as negative..including politics. She was also told to not have a Twitter account. Some employers think that if you have a Twitter account, you will use it constantly while at work. Id say the same thing could happen with Facebook...but..evidently Twitter is worse. I would not know.

I do a lot of hiring..but..my targets usually do not have a Facebook account because of economics. Most of them are not affluent enough to have computers or smartphones.

I have have had the same thing told to me. I think the logic behind it is a little silly, but I think the proverbial cat is out of the bag on that one.

I'm so not surprised....this is good info....

my daughter dropped her acct 4 yrs ago.....

apparently we now need to have another talk about this stupid shite....

goddammmit.....I fk'n hate this shite with a passion one can only imagine.....

the concept itself is mindnumbingly disgusting.....the only goddammmed fk'n reason is so they can see if you tee off on stupid shite.....then judge

I hated our HR fkr from day one.....I got his arse fired....after I left....that sob got the finger as my exit interview.....I wouldn't even listen to counter offer.....

stupid motherfkrs.....yeah, shite like this pisses me the fk off.....

Lot's of young people don't really use Facebook or Twitter anymore. They're using KIK, Tumblr, Snapchat, and others now. Since adults have become more prevalent on social media, tweens and teens have moved to more private social media platforms so they can do their thing without their parents / family members knowing.

that's why I still talk to the ex and monitor.....instagram too....

mine thinks the whole thing is tard.....she ain't no dummy....she's had a couple of good teachers along the way....

Well, regardless of what lawyers may think, logic does have defined rules.

When you post a message on a social media website using your own account, and the message indicates that you do not post on social websites nor have accounts on them, then that is what folks that adhere to said logical rules would call "false" (which in lawyer parlay, seems to mean the same thing as "opportunity").

Really? You could have taken that same "logic" and understood how social media was being defined from the context of the posts.
