It is my feeling that information of this type, unreleased by the athletic department or appearing in the papers or tv, should not be put on these pages.

All recruiting info presented at least by myself, is entirely from media outlets, scouting services, or the players themselves.

I think BT's post was in response to the question as to whether or not his inside knowledge could or should be shared here. I don't think he was questioning your (or others) sharing practices.

@willie_anderson: Former Boston College SG Matt Milon commits to William & Mary. Big time steal for the TRIBE and an even better kid. #Q6Gang

RE: College Transfers
Nice. Assume he has to sit out next year, right?

Played in 30 games about 16 minutes per game but was playing more minutes towards end of year.

14-14 from the FT line
39 of 79 from the 3 point line
16 of 40 from 2 (need to keep him shooting at a distance this means)

RE: College Transfers
This is the guy I could not name when I first posted his coming visit two weeks ago.

Had 25 point game against Syracuse and shot 49%+ three pointers for the season. A 3 star player in high school.

He appears to be a terrific quality addition to our program if these reports are correct.

RE: College Transfers
Big big get...helps to balance classes and will provide great practice competition in his sit out season. Seems like another example of get'em on campus and the school/program sells itself. Technically has 3 years of eligibility.

RE: College Transfers
Fantastic news! Another benefit is that we will have two great transfers on our team (Cohn and Milon) that will be able to sell our program to other potential transfers (assuming Milon likes WM).

Great news, more than makes up for the loss of Elijha Pemberton. He can step right in to the rotation next year - just like David Cohn did last year.

Re: College Transfers
Very excited about Milon. It seems at BC he was miscast as a point /off guard who only scored off 3 point attempts. He does do that quite well. But, if you look at his high school tape, not only is he a deadly shooter. He is a versatile slasher & scorer with deceiving athletic ability. I think Shaver's system will allow him to prosper. He seems to me very much in the mold of Prewitt, Malinowski, & Pierce.

It will be interesting if he foregos a year of eligibility as BT thought or if he maintains the full 3 with a redshirt.

RE: College Transfers
Younger brother, Ryan, is an all district, high academic 6'4 300 lb tackle in 2017 class. Interesting possibility.....

Matt was Florida 7A POY for both his junior and senior years. Had offers his senior year from FL State, Davidson, Wichita State, Creighton, Purdue, VA Tech, among others.

Welcome to One Tribe, Matt!

I know these are high school highlights, but seriously, how could you not be excited for this kid's potential in the tribe offense.

RE: College Transfers
Just watched mrjoolius' highlight videos....Wow!

By the way, my original post pf two years eligibility remaining was in error...appears, happily after watching
those sensational videos, to be three years after his layout year.

He should thrive in Tony's system.
