RE: College Transfers
Barry might be a player that improves on a better team. He's a great scorer, and on a team where there are more options to keep the defense off him he might be even better. Big liability on defense, but at a good P5 school he could be a significant asset.

Omar ran rings around Barry in the game this past season at Kaplan before Barry suffered injury.

RE: College Transfers
No doubt, Omar will be the saddest player to see Barry transfer.

Charleston
Canyon Barry
Donovan Gilmore

Delaware
Eric Carter
Chivarsky Corbett
Cazmon Hayes
Kory Holden
Skye Johnson
Also lost a recruit Randy Miller who decommitted

Drexel
Terrell Allen
Sammy Mojica

James Madison
None that I see but they lost a recruit Jordan Shepherd who I don't think had signed an LOI yet and released their only other recruit who had signed an LOI. Did sign 2 JUCOs though who will be Sophomores eligibilitywise.

Northeastern
Kwesi Abakah
Brandon Kamga

Towson
AJ Astroth
Byron Hawkins

UNCW
C.J. Gettys (still not on Verbal Commits but seen elsewhere)
Mark Matthews
Chuck Ogbodo

UNCW added
Ambrose Mosley - ODU - grad transfer eligible right away
Tyrone Taylor - Wichita State - must sit out a year

Now going to add a 5th Delaware player who is still without a coach and now have lost their top 3 minutes guys from last year (1 of those to graduation).

Also added a Northeastern guy.

Also added UNCW added guys from transfers.

UNCW is primed to run away with the conference. They clearly have, like Towson and JMU, very liberal requirements to transfer in and their program is taking full advantage of a hot couple of seasons so show potential players that shiny object.

If Gettys doesn't stay, they will be exposed inside, so, not ready to concede it to them. It's sometimes tough to follow up success and find the same team chemistry, especially with new faces added to the mix.

RE: College Transfers
On paper we look to be as good or better than last year assuming a couple of our sophomores step up and show improvement from this year as juniors.

I'd say that we should be right in the thick of things at the top.

Per JMU board, Stuckey Mosely on campus today and committed to them...well that really got him closer to home.

Canyon Berry is now a Florida Gator, and some ESPN Bball guys are saying this is a "huge get" for UF. One of the favorites in the SEC now (not that the SEC is a bball powerhouse right now).

Barry to Florida. Good fit. They don't play defense anyway.

Jeffers is now also transferring out of Delaware. Jeff Borzello of ESPN just tweeted this: "Delaware now has four scholarship players for next season, no head coach and no permanent athletic director. It's May 10th."

Yikes...

Wow - Here is what they have:
Seniors:
Devonne Pinkard - 22 games 25.4 Minutes/game last year (5.2 pts)
Barnett Harris - 26 games, 8.6 minutes/game last year (.8 pts)
Curtis McRoy (Walk on) - 26 games, 6.4 minutes/game last year (.5 pts)

Junior:
Anthony Mosley - 30 games, 31.3 minutes per game (9.7 points)

Sophomores:
Darian Bryant - Redshirted last year (transfer from GW who averaged 5.4 minutes per game there and 1.2 pts)
Tyler Burns (Walk on) Redshirted last year (was not on court either of 2 years at Delaware)
Curtis Lochner (Walk on) - 12 games played 2 minutes per game (0.1 points per game)

Freshmen:
None have committed

So Delaware now has because of their messed up situation guys on the team that averaged 16.3 points per game last year. Only 3 scholarship players have seen the court for Delaware (plus 2 walkons have seen single digit minutes) in addition to 2 redshirts 1 of which saw limited action at GW.

Positive news is that if no new scholarships are handed out, there will be 11 available for the following year. Who is going to want to coach there?

Blame has to go to the very top for not getting an AD in place. This is real bad.
Even in the year Liberty had 11 new players, they had an AD and got a coach.

Delaware may not win a game in Division I basketball next season unless they quickly get some Jucos.

I think they are shooting for that number one draft pick. Seriously, as much as I dislike UD, that is an awful situation to go through.

RE: College Transfers
We have a transfer prospect who would have two years of eligibilty remaining after sitting out next season visiting us next week. He's from a major power conference who has narrowed it down to William & Mary and one other university. Stay tuned.

Hmmm, interesting. My guess is BC transfer Matt Milon. Fits our 6'4 combo guard mold and is an absolute deadly shooter (50% as a freshman). He had high scoring games vs Syracuse(25 pts) & Harvard(16 pts). He was often used at the point, but would be much more effective catching and shooting on the wing in our system.

The mystery player has two years of eligibility left and Milan has three, I believe.
