Nerds @ JMU predictions
This game is now meaningless and it could be a precursor to a rematch one week later in the tourney.
Shak probably isn't playing so the lineup will look weird again. This gives Brady a chance to tinker with small lineups and adjust player minutes to see how they react.

The mantra should be to play hard for Curry and Grays on senior day, but don't show any unique defenses that may be better used in a do or die tournament game.

Nerds are at full strength.
JMU will be missing their 2nd leading rebounder, 2nd leading scorer, and 3rd leading scorer.

No need to cry over spilled milk or injured players. The real season starts in one week.

RE: Nerds @ JMU predictions
Vodo also out for Saturday- league rule after an in game suspension. I like Brady and try not to blame him for too much but you have to wonder- do players listen to or read what the coach says leading up to a game? Brady called the game a rock fight and had a comment about literally throwing a punch. Did Vodo feed off of that or is Towson that physical? Either way Tom should have known that he wasn't going to win that one against Rivera at home on Senior night.

I agree, I don't think we should kill our guys, but I also want to look good on NBC sports in front of the country...agh it's a toss up!

Towson is that physical. Vodo was the only JMU player who I thought stepped-up and fully matched their physical play. Had Brown not gone out I think he might have been in the mix and help on the boards. Unfortunately, Curry disappeared in the first, and YoYo disappeared in the second half, and those absences sealed the loss.

Remarkably, as poorly as JMU played, had Curry hit his 3 missed FTs near the end (and/or YoYo hit ANY FTs) JMU might have stole a game on the road they were completely outplayed in.

RE: Nerds @ JMU predictions
For Senior Day I would expect Grays to start with Curry in the backcourt. Kent Satkius and Dalembert should also start. Will likely need some good minutes from Morgan and Lukic today.

Top two 3 point shooters out
2nd & 3rd leading rebounders out
2nd & 3rd leading scorers out

It's a meaningless game for us. Be a good time to give Kangni, Morgan and Risse some minutes.

Actually, that's a pretty cool idea. See what Kangni and Morgan can do in a full-game scenario.

What was the deal with that media time out. There was no stoppage of play.

Good hustle with a nice combination of inside and outside shooting.
