We won the one that mattered most.
Your team is sh!tty. As evidenced by your 21-33 record. Anyone can win 1 game. Unless you go to Louisville to get your a$$ whipped twice.
Anyone would then not include Kent.
But thanks for your thoughts.

Classic, WMU fans trolling. KSU didn't hit like they had all season and had so many errors (Dylan Rosa really struggled with both) in the MAC Tournament and double that with Eli Kraus throwing the worst start of the season (like Ty Linder said, missing that Saturday game vs WCU really seemed to throw him out of his routine) and you have what happened. WMU has a really good ace pitcher who threw 2 games in MAC Tournament that they won and was just rewarded for his performance by being drafted really high in MLB Draft. KSU losing to Youngstown State the last week of the season pretty much sealed the deal of no at-large bid, as I had heard they were going to get 1 if they won all games the last week of the regular season.
It will be interesting to see how WMU does next year without their ace and KSU without Ravel & Lauer, but the history of the last 20 years would tell you that KSU will be good again and WMU will not.
KSU has a ton of freshmen that played this year and a few who redshirted that all have a lot of talent.
KSU loses (4) 5th year seniors (Tim Faix & Eli Martin ((both relief pitchers)), Jacob Neuschaefer & Alex Miklos ((both outfielders who played sparingly this year)), (2) 4th year seniors (Zarley Zalewski who should be drafted today & Nick Jensen-Clagg, who should also be drafted today or get a free agent contract). With draft taking Eric Lauer & Andy Ravel thus far, it would seem that KSU's starting weekend rotation next year would be Kraus, Murray, & Wollersheim. It will be interesting to see if Connor Simonetti & Luke Burch get drafted today and if they do, whether they return for their senior seasons @ KSU or not.

Jared Skolnicki should be ahead of Wollersheim, no? Is he not returning? I figure with a weekend staff of Kraus, Murray and Skolnicki with Wollersheim handling weekday duties again we should be fine. Is there any chance we could land a big arm for next year still or is it too late?

Not "1 game," we beat you TWICE this year - same number of wins you had over our "sh!tty" team that made it to NCAA Regionals.

Your team showed how sh!tty it was in regionals. KSU had double the amount of wins than WMU had, took the weekend series, and had way more depth. WMU threw everything they had into that 1 game. Unfortunately, WMU can't do that every game, as evidenced by their terrible record and showing in regionals.

I think South Carolina feels that way too - beating Kent State in the 2012 College World Series is their program peak - OK, maybe not

Hardly. But let the excuses keep coming. But if we keep this up you need to lay down on the couch, sign this waiver and know up front I charge by the hour. Your freebie session is over.
So have you stop beating your wife yet?

I'll be in Kalamazoo for the series next year. I hope you and all 25 WMU fans are there to witness a KSU of your sub .500 team.

Next year isn't this year. I hope you enjoy your stay and that it isn't snowing or sleeting on game day.
