There is no false accuser at this time. He will get his day in court to see if she is a false accuser or not. I'll lay a few hundred down to say he'll pony up just like FSU did.

FSU broke the law. They failed to investigate, and they didnt fail on accident. Anyone who knows Winston's character knows the dude is in trouble. We dont know if she is a false accuser or not. What we do know is that FSU broke the law.
There is no evidence and thus nothing to investigate. A public accusation is almost always a false one. Not to mention the guy could have banged anyone he wanted in Tallahassee with full consent. I hate FSU as much as anyone, but we don't convict people on emotion and without evidence in this country.

You should read up on the case before commenting. There was nothing public for months. The Tallahassee PD and FSU did everything they could to allow the accused to get away or destroy evidence.

Winston wasn't playing at that point in time. He was a RS freshman.

Hmmmmmmmmmm.......Sounds familiar............................like Destroying E Mails from a Private Server. Stonewall until You think You are in the clear Then Deny, Deny, Deny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Similar in the same way both are "above the law". It's disgusting.

This is a perfect story of the modern college football landscape:

To buyout Ellis Johnson, Southern Miss had to come up with either 1 or 2 million dollars. I can't remember which, but either way we didn't have the money. We had to sell a home game back to Nebraska (a home game with Nebraska is a YUGE deal), get large donations from disgruntled boosters, etc just to come up with that money. Hell, WE ARE STILL paying him.

Florida State forks over $1 million like they're paying for a gallon of milk. Laughing all the way to the bank.

I have seen other reports that the 700/250 split was not correct.
