Finally! The Ball State one off game is a bit of a head-scratcher. Any idea why they would not come to Birmingham the following year? Either way, I am pumped!

That first game back being against Alabama A&M will guarantee a MASSIVE turnout. Well done.

Because while Watts did say that he would bring football back in 2017, he didn't say he would continue it for more than one year.

We had games scheduled this year and next year before they cut our team :/

I'm excited. Going to try to make most of the games. Definitely going to road trip to Florida too. Already coming up with tailgate ideas. I'm thinking Lift The Embargo for the first game complete with Cuban sandwiches, rum, plantains, and other Cuban fare. Coastal Carolina I'm thinking a shrimp boil.

I would love to see Alabama A&M and Alabama State become our regular FCS alternating games. Good for us and good for them. Return Troy and South to the schedule when they open up and that gives us a pretty good baseline attendance number as well as a real chance at 3 wins on a regular basis. Add a serious money game and we'd be good to go

Is this schedule contingent upon the deadline being met tomorrow? I kid.....but no seriously?

Releasing the schedule the day before the deadline is akin to kidnappers letting the victim call their loved ones the day before the ransom is due. Make sure the loved ones know why they are paying the ransom.

Coastal Carolina will be FBS when we play them in 2017. But since they will be in their transitional period, they are almost like a "shadow FBS" opponent. Great scheduling move.

Don't see a reason to stop at 7 either. We're back in business. Put the pedal to the metal and drive it like we stole it all season long.

would like to play either Troy or South Alabama every year, but not both in same year
