Still only 1 3-pointer for the Tribe.

61-52 under 8. We just need to calm down and run our offensive set. We will be fine

Outrebounding them by 14 and shooting 60% to 37%. Why aren't we up by 15 ? Be tough for the final 3:50.

63-54 under 4. I think we'll be able to pile it on down the stretch

I hope so. Nobody but us will remember anything but the final margin later in the season.

35-21 Tribe in the second half. Win the boards 38-21. Shot 56% for the game.

I will take the win. It wasn't pretty but it was double digits.

We were sleep walking through that one. We didn't have any real intensity and should have blown this team out. Tough game to play in given there was almost nobody at the game. No emotion at all.

Thank goodness we won. I'm sure Tony will be disappointed. Pretty much as expected after the NCSU pounding.

What I really liked is it looks like we will be good enough to compete even on our off nights

Tribe got some road kill. May be a quiet ride home, but with a win, it's happy. I'm happy for Tony and the guys. I watched Dayton demolish Alabama. Their arena is a shakeout.

Sloppy game and the 3's didn't go down, but if the Tribe had hit their free throws it would have been a 20 point win.

We played terrible and won by 11. Any road win is a good win, and according to the Liberty broadcasters we're 2-0 for the first time since the 1940s. Home opener against a nobody on Thursday, feel good win and a chance to get the bench some minutes before a big game on Saturday.

Didn't shoot 3s well. Didn't shoot FTs well. Some poor shot selection in the 2nd half. Flames had plenty of open looks from 3, and our interior defense did not impress.
Call it a scrappy win against an energized young team.
Big South commentators very complimentary re our players and program.

This was the old recipe for a tribe loss- turnovers and missed free throws. We did both and still won. Against a better team we won't be so lucky.

First time starting the season 2-0 on the road, since the 40's.

The announcers were very complimentary all night.

RE: @ Liberty
This was a game that we would have lost in the past. The program has elevated to the point that we can sleepwalk through a half on the road against an inferior team and still end up winning by double digits anyways. That is a good thing. Dayton is an impossible place to win on the road...it is always sold out and very LOUD! Probably a tougher environment to play in than UVA.

Over the past few years, there have been quite a few WTH losses.

Tonight had the potential to be another one ... didn't happen ... bodes well for the season.
