Have to tip your cap to Temple, can't see any MAC school having that type of opportunity. Contrary to MDs distorted reality, AAC is hands down the premiere G5 conference.

They are saying that it's not all bad. It's horrible for attendance and great for national exposure and recruiting. They are right.

I'm nowhere near convinced on the recruiting benefit. Like everyone else on this board, I need facts. Show me the facts about recruits who chose NIU because they saw our games on ESPN.

Every year recruits say they knew about NIU and decided to come because of seeing us on TV. Facts, no. But overwhelming anecdotal evidence.

If the exposure helped recruiting, after several years of that NIU and the MAC in general would be getting more good recruits in comparison to other schools who already were playing on TV. So far that isn't the case.
