The dichotomy within the State of Illinois. People from Chicago aren't very fond of the rest of the State to the South and the same goes from the South. You have programs like Michigan State that have connections to every high school in Chicago and they take all the talent. Illinois just doesn't invest in the infrastructure nor has it had a solid coaching staff for years.
You are right though, that school does not do the State of Illinois justice with it's Athletic Department as a whole.

I would be more embarrassed with all those people who dressed up like empty seats today at UNC

Well the ACC Coastal has won the challenge, either 4-1 or 3-2 depending on the outcome of Pitt vs Iowa.
Congratulations, ACC Coastal!

Congratulations, ACC Coastal!
Even so, I was impressed with Northwestern. I knew they must be pretty good to beat Stanford, but this was my first time seeing them play (against Duke).

Northwestern defeated a ranked opponent (Stanford, was ranked at game time) with a Senior Starting QB (Hogan). Duke has not played a real competitor yet. Cats should win.
VA Tech gave OSU a good half of football and the Boilers looked better than expected at Marshall, Still though a Boiler win would be a large upset.
Although Miami is 2-0, those 2 games may be the only 2 they win this year. They complete their OOC scheduled with the Huskers at home followed by a bye week and at Cincy. Conference opener is at FSU, followed by home games with VaTech & Clemson. Nebraska lost in embarrassing fashion to BYU at home and their coaches are not going to let their team forget the sting of that defeat. Nebraska wins by 10.
Pitt though winning their first 2 games, have not looked good doing it under their first year HC. Youngstown gave them a real battle in the opener, Pitt winning by 1 TD and Akron may be the worst MAC team this year, Pitt won 24-7.
While Iowa State is nothing great, they are better than either of Pitt's opponents (Iowa won 31-17 at Ames) and Illinois State played in the FCS title game last year (Iowa winning that one 31-14). A Panther win would be a large upset.
B10 3-ACC2
Did you see that game? I was there and it was a monsoon! Akron's offense is bad, but we are not the worst in the Conference.
Back on topic.
Northwestern(as strange as it sounds), looks legit this season.

well Iowa pulls it out.
ACC 3, BigTen 2. Difference ends up being Miami's OT victory over Nebraska in Miami.

Still think that 4 to 1 win for the B1G was a good call?
