My money is on TH to be the number two QB when the regular season gets underway. He has a year under his belt with the Vikings system, you have to know he is hungry, Hill is another year older, and, frankly, Stave and Williams are not real threats.

And if he does get cut, look at how many teams are desperate for qb's right now.

Rg3 just got another chance. Mark Sanchez might start for the super bowl champs.

He will absolutely get picked up somewhere if the Vikings cut him but odds are, they don't.

As much as I think Heinicke will be on a roster this year, this doesn't make any sense. Sanchez and RG3 got additional shots because they have both had success in the NFL before. Heicnicke has never played a down. There is no comparison.

I'm not sure you know what the word success means.

They've both STARTED in the NFL.

Neither of them is a successful NFL QB.

Didn't RG3 lead the Skins to the playoffs and was the Rookie of the Year in the NFC? Some measure of success.

P.S. and he made a great deal of money (some measure success that way).

He did pretty good his first year, a little bit less the year before. I think he was hurt year 3? Hasn't been the same since. I do think he was overrated though. If he could have just held onto the ball he might have been more of a threat.

His rookie year was fantastic up until that awful injury, his second year he was awful and got benched, his third year he got hurt then got benched cuz he was awful, the last year he got "hurt" in the preseason and was benched. I was the biggest RGIII guy up until they benched him for good last year and his rookie year was one of my favorite years to watch as a Redskins fan. But his success was was product of his athletic abilities and a system that highlighted his strengths and his his weaknesses, as well as other teams not being used to a system that Washington ran that year. I wish RGIII the best and I really wished it worked out but he has a steep uphill climb to get back to a relative level of success. His injury injured a lot more than a couple of ligaments in his knee.

RG3 was hurt at the end of his first season in the playoffs and instead of being smart about it, they came out and said he'd be ready for game one the following season, and then in the process dan synder inflated that kids ego so much that he believed that he was bigger than the team. everybody in dc bought a RG jersey and the radio guys talked about him every day in the offseason. so its not a shocker that he crashed and burned in DC....I remember when he was drafted and during that season I thought the kid was very talented, but the way the played that made him successful combined with his slight stature, he would be out of the league in 5 years b/c of injuries. its very possible that comes true. at least if he does resurrect his career the skins won't benefit (b/c F the skins!)

I consider winning the NFC East, being one of the top rated passers in the NFL, and going to the pro bowl as success. What would you call that?

In terms of Sanchez he's won a lot of games as a game manager type and then played really well in 2014; something I would also consider success.

Comparing those guys to someone that hasn't played 1 down is asinine.

Here is a nice article on Heinicke. Looks like there is at least one pundit who thinks his stock is up.

Think Teddy B. might be telling us who the Vikings' No. 2 QB is?

It would make sense they get along well. Same age. The other backup is a baby boomer. They don't like mellinials. 05-stirthepot not sure the code on phone but that's the stir the pot icon.
