Does the man do anything without trying to make a statement? Of all the people that applied for the position I have a hard time believing that a tranny (used in the politically correct, term of endearment sense to appease overly sensitive ******* on the board) was the most qualified given the insignificantly small number of trannies out there.

I've never used the term trannny, I don't believe, situation just never presented itself. But had NO idea it too was frowned upon by the perpetually, professionally Oooffended class.

What bothers me, is the fact that you know that word came down from on high to find a tranny. It makes you question that things competency. Was it selected because of how good it was, or was it selected because of what it is?

What is really sad about that is that it may actually be completely competent, it may damn well be the best human being imaginable for this position, but the question will hang and reasonably so for any reasonable person.

I care that they hired anyone for this supposed job/office. That's what I find offensive, that this "job" even exists.

A good rule of thumb is to just not use words to ultimately insult someone. I think our mother's pointed that out to us from time to time

I used to work with a guy that looked like that... His coveralls were so big that he looked square. His last name was Ebarb so we called him Spongebarb Squarepants. I swear he looked JUST like that tranny in the picture, minus the fake boobs and makeup.

I agree with both of the above. I'd like to think that they were looking for someone to fill a position and the most qualified/best candidate just happened to to be transgender. That's what we're aiming for in terms of equality. Somehow I don't think that's the case though, it looks like fodder for self congratulation.
