More concrete Breath of the Wild information is coming out slowly. Playing it on minimal settings in handheld mode will drain the battery in "less than three hours". It will output at 720p in handheld and 900p in "TV Mode" meaning that there will still be a considerable graphical fidelity gap between the Switch and the PS/XB offerings. I'm guessing that will make current generation 3rd party games damn near impossible to port to Switch, due to the already high draw and an increased desire for 4K resolution in those consoles. This will make for a decent handheld once the price is dropped, but it is absolutely no competition as a console unless you're a Nintendo-only gamer.
The 32GB internal HDD also leaves me scratching my head. I realize it's a space issue, but that, to me, effectively marks them out for all the major digitial releases, and all but confirms some form of cart.

Yeah they did nothing to grab me day one. I hate Zelda so all the games I want are releasing summer and fall. I'll wait till the holiday when it'll be $249 on Black Friday like it should've been at release day.

I like what I saw so far... glad there was a lot more tech in those joycons.
BotW looks epic.
MK8DLX .... hmm..... battle mode fixed the lone issue with standard MK8.... but I need to hear about getting NEW tracks over the current allotment from MK8+DLC.
Mario Odyssey looks like SM64 + SMG in a more open world kind of concept....
Can't wait for Bomberman, a top multiplayer game.
not sure on paid online, at least until I hear more...
a few of the "switch" games equivalent to WiiSports as a app game to show off the tech felt very underwhelming.
I bet they are holding back on a Smash and Super Mario Maker port(s)...

games are on cart
and 32gb is expandable via SDXC cards
I don't buy enough digital versions of retail games to say how limiting this could be...but the expandable option...
If you haven't, download one of the many accessible phone emulators and try out the old fire emblem and final fantasy games. Timeless classics

I bought Path of Radiance on a whim in high school and was hooked ever since. Realistically, I think PoR is my most played game, probably ran through that start to finish 12-15 times. Oddly enough, that's also probably the most expensive game I own, goes for around $120-$150 depending on condition regularly on eBay but I'll never sell it.
Finally got through the old re-releases and really looking forward to the three that have just been announced. I never played the non-localized version of Gaiden but I've always been intrigued by it, so I'll definitely buy it now that it's coming West in earnest for the 3DS.

I don't have the time to get into deep RPGs any more... not sure I'd get into it...
Anyway, I am content with my usage of Roy in Smas Bros. Melee, Marth and Ike in in Smash Bros. Brawl, and as far as Smash 4 goes.... I love me some Ike, Corrin, and Roy. I can't quite get Marth or Lucina to work for me.... I'd like to get better with Robin though... I also have the full Smash amiibo set for the Smash 4 fighters.
Switch @ $300
BotW @ $60
BotW Amiibos 4x $16, 1x$20
Switch Pro Controller $70
Super Bomberman R @ $40
*Actually decided I'd do better than break even and got a GCU membership with Best Buy.
Only other things I might get and they will be decided upon launch day are colored joy con straps and a case for taking it on the go. I really want to see the cases first hand before I commit to buying any particular one.
