Glad they finally put a story mode into FIFA 17, here's hoping they improve the GM Career Mode as well...seems they're focusing on the offline play quite a bit this year already.

Also, SUPER pumped for new info on Andromeda...new preview trailer just makes me that much more exciting.

I know you're still salty that Toledo had the #1 class in the country and had two of the top 5 in the Heisman voting... it's ok...

Absolutely. I'm also still mad that I missed my game winning field goal against you because my kicker didn't have the leg to hit a friggin 37 yarder from dead center field.

Kicking is the one thing that they've never gotten right in football games. Every D1 kicker can make 50 yarders, it's about consistency and accuracy, but since they couldn't be bothered to actually create something that modeled that, they just made half the kickers into small children kicking anvils.

Yeah, there really haven't been many new projects announced outside of the Star Wars games finally being confirmed, the God of War game being confirmed, the new PS4 game that was just announced, and Forza Horizon 3. Bethesda's biggest news was a new texture render on a 5 year old game for Christ's sake...

With that being said, I'm very excited for FIFA 17, Horizon: Zero Dawn looks absolutely incredible, and I can't wait to get my hands on Sea of Theives and the Star Wars games...also Andromeda...always Andromeda.

Sony just tried to get away with bullshite and their fans are eating it up while I'm not having any of it. The games we got info on we're good but the presentation was horrid.

I'm starting to get worried that its going to be a lot more garbage than gold.

I fear this as well. It's ambitious, I really hope they can pull it off.

I've preordered it, but if it sucks. It won't be the first time I've wasted $60 on a game.

There really wasn't a ton along the lines of hard info, but they probably wanted a more visually impressive conference than a technical one given how much more casual viewership for the event has increased. I personally liked the games they presented, and think quite a few will find their way into my catalogue. Any worry I had about Horizon was completely quashed with that demo though. It looks like Tomb Raider mixed with ME/DA:I conversations/RPG elements with ROBOT DINOSAURS.

New God of War looks like a great start, I've always thought that Norse Mythology was a natural area for a game like that given all the death, destruction, and betrayal in their mythos. No idea what Kojima's project is yet so I'm reserving judgement, Days Gone looks like Last of Us + Dead Rising, but I'm not sure I'm ok with it yet...I'll need to see more than rambling hordes being moved down by one bullet from an assault rifle before I'm ok with spending $60.

I'm holding out hope that Spiderman game turns more into the old N64 titles and less like what it has been coming out recently.

Much along the lines of 2k's mode from this year. Just a scripted-ish drastic improvement on the Player Career mode.

I'm wayyy late to the party, but I don't get all the hate that Star Wars Battlefront got. I love it, and also played the original Xbox version back in the day.

It was a very entertaining drop-in, drop-out shooter, but I think the major backlash was the fact that it is extremely light on content for a $60 price tag what with no play customization, limited map content, and no Story/Campaign mode, which given the property should have been the easiest yes vote in their planning and design meetings. But, the next Battlefront looks to have righted those wrongs and is said to incorporate much more customization. I have been a big fan of the many different game modes, and thoroughly like slashing people to bits with Luke, but I too understand the outcry for more content.

It really does, and it's a damn shame that Nintendo doesn't see the writing on the wall that they should move to full software for consoles instead of making people spend $450 just to play one game. They would more than likely pull in more money selling software only and making it available on all platforms instead of playing around with consoles that a majority of game players do not want to fiddle with. I want to play this game, but I simply cannot justify it since I would have to buy an entire console to play it...and I will never be able to do so.
