Other then that they are in meetings, treatment, or in their rooms under curfew. They don't have time to "chill" and defintaly don't have 3 days in Miami like you think.

It's obvious either A. You don't know any athletes or B. Didn't go to college because anyone that has knows their football fly or buses out the morning of the day before the game and are back home that night as soon as the game is over

This is true. When I played Marshall, we flew in the day before. I will always remember that landing because the runway was on the side of a cliff. Its like the runway just ended and then there was a drop off. Anyway we got their and went out to a movie the night before. It was at an old historic movie theater. Neat little town.

If this is true, then you landed in Charleston, WV

Dont remember it was in 1990 my last season playing. We stayed in Huntington(sp). Maybe it was I dont know where Charleston is.

No big deal bro. Charleston was where most flights flew into because of more airlines/flights/etc. It's only about a 50 min ride from Huntington

This is funny. Marshall fans and Georgia Southern fans arguing about strenght of schedule. 03-lmfao

THIS! Marshall better be undefeated this year going into the championship game, easier schedule than last year. Marshall has a one game season against WKU. The only thing missing this year a team that will finish in the top 60 by the end of the year.

Not sure how you can claim this years schedule is easier than last years, but meh, whatever.

As to everything else. Make fun of our schedule all you want, at the end of the day we are CUSA champs, beat you guys head to head, and didn't lost "lose"to any 1-AA teams.

Other than MTS and WKU, how many of the teams on the schedule will even sniff at a winning record? Maybe FAU and FIU. MU once again has the easiest schedule in CUSA and the country based on last years records.

How much do you want to bet that MU will play no more than 3 at most 4 teams before the conference championship game with a winning record? It's possible you may only play 2 teams with a winning record on the season.

That's their problem not ours. We can't recruit for other teams. It's not our fault we have talent that vastly superior to almost everyone on our schedule

We still have to show up and win at the end of the day.

We can only play the teams that are willing to play us, simple as that. We have NC State, Louisville, and Pitt on future schedules. If they are not willing to return the trip to Huntington that's not our fault.

Everyone else can play the 1 and done, away game only all they want. Feel free to keep pounding your chest about how tough your schedule is. Marshall will just continue beating those who will schedule us, and take our top 25 ranking, and conference championships regardless of SOS.

Schedule doesn't matter unless you are a conf champ.

You can say that, but the reality is that Marshall has practically eliminated themselves from the G5 bowl before the season has even begun.

You are free to think that all you want.

I strongly disagree.

RE: Marshall might have the biggest group of skill players in the country
You might be surprised about the committee's opinion about Marshall changing due to LTs win over Illinois and our blowout of NIU. Not to mention the two other major polls disagreeing with their estimation of the Herd. They might say a yr in the past doesn't count at all but talk is cheap. Even Rice's blowout of Fresno that was more one sided than either of Boise two wins could make a diff. In other words they now know that the computers liked CUSA's performance last yr maybe out of proportion to the committee's estimation which makes Marshall look that much better. Two losses for Boise this yr might be one too many if another Go5 team is undefeated.

Plus we have Purdue this year. Our score with them will be compared to other teams in the Big 10. Its important that we leave no doubt in this game.

Also, everyone is forgetting that the committee made a lot of changes in the final polls. Who is to say that we would not have moved ahead of Boise once we finished undefeated?

We were eliminated the day our AD very rudely decided not to take the GSU AD's phone call!
