Our pitching isn't there this year thus far. I was a bit worried going in and now I'm really concerned. We haven't had a good outing in a LONG time. Not sure that you can leave Ramsey as a closer if you don't have any starters.

What really hurt early was the number of 0 and 2 hits we gave up. For cripes sake, when a pitcher is ahead 0 and 2 - wasting a pitch or two is in order. Of course that alone did not lose the game. A miss judged liner to center hurt and a dropped fly at the wall in right with two outs and the bases loaded (official scorer imo goofed by giving the batter a hit when an error was in order). Bottom line - overall pitching & defense cost us the game.
Campbell did what good teams do - take advantage of opponents' mistakes.

If they called that a hit, they are nuts. Casey simply dropped it. Good that he seems to be getting his bat going again.
