Daesh (ISIL) have reportedly burned to death 50 civilians in Iraq’s violence-plagued western province of al-Anbar, in a brutal execution similar to the one previously carried out on a Jordanian pilot.

Provincial sources, requesting anonymity, said the men were killed in the town of Hit, located about 140 kilometers (85 miles) west of the capital, Baghdad, Iraq’s public broadcaster al-Iraqiya TV reported on Saturday.

The development comes less than a week after Daesh (ISIL) members torched to death at least 45 people in the conflict-ridden city of Khan al-Baghdadi, situated about 180 kilometers (110 miles) northwest of Baghdad.

The identities of those killed by Daesh in Khan al-Baghdadi have not been released, but local police chief, Colonel Qasim al-Obeidi, said on February 17 that many of the victims were believed to have been security forces.

It appears ISIS has found immolation in a cage has elicited an angry response from around the world. A response that the Islamic State desperately desires in their effort to draw the West into all-out war. What remains to be seen is how far the free West will go to put a stop it.

We all know the US gov funds ISIS/al Qaeda, I truly wonder if we have put a call into them to order them to switch from beheadings to burning people alive, to perpetuate the narrative that "ISIS is not Islamic", since apparently it says not to do so in the Quran.

It seems like they suddenly switched their tactics right around the same time Obama doubled down on calling it "Violent extremism".

I wouldn't doubt it for a second.

I'm not expert on the Quran obviously, but I could of swore the MSM had a story shortly after the Jordanian pilot was burned on how it denounced the burning of people. Am I misremembering or (much more likely) was that something they just got wrong?

If they did denounce it, it was only because a burning pilot pollutes the air and causes global warming.
