Is Ross injured?
I am starting to think he may be injured. He is one of our most mentally tough and clutch players. We have gotten nothing from him the last three games. No monster dunks, no sensational blocks, and no highlight plays. He just doesn't seem to be himself.

IF he is injured he should not be starting. Taylor should be starting and getting more minutes if Ross is injured. Douglass and Biberaj could get more mainutes too.

We finally make an adjustment on defense and it works. Probably too late.

We need an inside scoring threat.

likely hurt but either way they need to get Ross out of there...he's logging way too many minutes to be standing around taking pictures...

RE: Is Ross injured?
Look at Ross's stats the last few games. Notice his lack of production the last few games. Todays game may have been his worst.

Today Ross had 2 points and 1 rebound. He probably played 25 minutes.

Of course Ross is hurt. God knows how many stitches he has in his tongue. Plus the earlier back problems.

RE: Is Ross injured?
He's most definitely hurt. The problem is other than arledge and Taylor, we don't have many other great options.

Biberaj is serviceable but certainly can't be relied on for long stretches and other than that, we don't have much. Douglass is not very good and isn't a big anyways. He's a stretch 3 with no shooting ability.

So we need Ross to play and his injury has really zapped some of the life out of this team.

An injury is the only way we can explain his lack of production. No way he goes 4 games with a dunk if he is healthy. When was the last time he blew by someone?

That tongue issue (9 days ago) has to have some sort of effect on him. These kids have a lot on their plate, he couldn't eat solid food. There has to be some residual effects here. He'll be back.

One block in the last four games, was the 2nd best shot blocker in the league

He blew right by two defenders (at middle) and missed a wide open layup

I remember that play now. But a healthy Ross would have dunked the ball.

Might want to rewatch the play. He was above rim (he could have dunked it), however, he went with the safe (aka correct) play and went for the layup instead. He just bricked it off the backboard

And how long, r8r, could he not eat for? How much does he have on his plate?

He did graduate but he's still a college student expected to anchor our "build a wall" defense. If he's less than 100 percent, nights like this are possible. Our opponents know he's not right, they are ramming the ball right down our throat.
